...And the People Behind the Magic!
Owner/Professional Dog Groomer
I have been dog grooming professionally since 2010, and almost 3 of those years were spent under the mentorship of Carol Ludwig at Petit Four Paws in Thiensville. I graduated from Carroll University with a degree in Business Management with then intention to always open my own dog grooming salon. I have a true passion for what I do, and I am constantly expanding my knowledge through seminars, trade shows, and pet industry magazines.
Outside of work, I participate in bowling and volleyball leagues. I also love painting, crafting, and taking long hikes with my two pooches, Axel and Tig. Axel is my Pit Bull mix, and Tig is my Boxer Mix. They definitely own a piece of my heart and I couldn't imagine life without them. I am also currently expecting my first child, a boy, due in August. I am so excited to begin this next journey of my life with my loving husband, Kyle.
As your dog groomer, I will love and care for your pet as if they were my own. I promise to be patient and kind. I will do whatever is best for your pet, and I will stand by the fact that humanity comes before vanity.
Professional Dog Groomer
I have been in the pet industry since 2015. However, my love and passion for animals has been with me for as long as I can remember. Before entering into this industry, I had a career in the optical industry for several years. Although I was successful and could have maintained a happy, decent life on that path, I knew in my heart that I wanted to work with animals. So I left it all behind to enter into the wonderful world of the pet biz.
I started exploring the industry by working in several different areas and roles, I worked at the humane society, a private in-home dog sitting business, as well as doggy day care. These experiences have been beneficial to me in developing a unique insight into the behavior of animals when they're in different environments and circumstances; it allows me to understand them better, which is an important part of my job.
As a Groomer, my goal is to provide the best looking pup cut in the safest and most efficient way possible. The most important core value that not only Two Tails stands for, but myself as well, is that humanity comes before vanity, always. I have two dogs, Kya (Yorkie) and Charli (Maltese) and I treat every dog that comes through our door as if they were my own; just as I would expect and hope for another groomer to treat my own girls.
Bringing your dog to the groomer for the first time can be scary for both the owner and the dog, I strive to reassure every parent and pup that they are safe when they're in my care and that they will be treated with respect, love and kindness. I love what I do and I love the women I work with. We are an amazing team and compliment each other when we need help the most. When the dogs aren't on the table or being bathed, I love to spend time playing with them and strengthening our bond. I want your dog to enjoy being here just as much as I do. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!
Professional Dog Groomer
I started working with animals when I was 15 years old. My love of animals grew as I got older. After graduation with a Communications degree from UW- Green Bay, many people would ask me what I wanted to do with my career. My answer never wavered, I wanted to work with animals. I love coming to work and meeting new dogs and petting as many dogs at the dog park as I can. My true passion in life is animals and I treat every animal that I meet as my own. My passion for animals doesn’t stop at dogs, I also foster cats! I look forward to grooming your dog and making them look great.
